The large antique gold tone brooch is exceedingly well made and prong/claw set with so many sparkling faceted emerald green and red rhinestones. This brooch is featured in Nancy Junker’s book “Christmas Tree Pins” on page 157 with a book value of NZ$260 to NZ$460.The description says “Here is probably the best known and most highly sought after Weiss Christmas tree brooch. It is decorated with white baguette candles with gold flames. A clear pear-shaped stone sits on top. The base is a horizontal row of amber stones imitating the same line of the tree tiers.
